The ECUO holds a grant competition within the framework of the “Partnership” program

One winner with the highest rating will be selected in each the two countries with the highest ratings of all applications rated by the competitive commission members. The amount of one mini-grant is up to EUR 24,000.

The international charitable organization “East Europe and Central Asia Association of People Living with HIV” (ECUO) has announced an open competition of mini-grants for organizations from such EECA countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Estonia.

The competition is implemented within the framework of the Regional Program “Partnership for the Equal Access to HIV Services in the EECA Region” with the support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The purpose of the competition is to identify organizations that will receive mini-grants for the implementation of the ECUO’s regional “Partnership” program with a special focus on conducting patent oppositions and expanding access to modern life-saving drugs for HIV treatment and/or legislative framework changes in the field of intellectual property in at least two countries of the regional project.

Mandatory conditions for sub-recipients:

The organization is non-profit and non-governmental.
The organization is registered in one of the countries listed above.
The organization is created and managed by community representatives (must be confirmed by the information about the organization).
The organization works on supporting health interests of the PLWH community and key affected populations, such as PWID, MSM, SWs or other key groups.
At the request of the Global Fund, the organization that receives the small grant funds, must have or be prepared to open a separate foreign currency account (euro).
Deadline for projects: May-October 2018.
Deadline for application submission: May 13, 2018 at 23.59 Kyiv time.
