According to Ukrinform agency, in the center of Odessa, on 44 Lesser Arnautskaya Street, representatives of the Regional Center for Socially Dangerous Diseases and the representative office of the AntiAIDS Foundation in Ukraine opened a clinic for early diagnosis and treatment of HIV infection.
“Implementing this joint project within the framework of public-private partnership, we considered the urgency of creating a clinic that provides early diagnostics and treatment of HIV infection and associated diseases. After all, in addition to infectious disease doctors, a therapist, gynecologist and other specialists provide consultations to patients here”, the Head of the Representative Office of the Anti-AIDS Foundation in Ukraine, Yaroslava Lopatina, said at the presentation.
According to her, the visitors of the clinic on 44 Lesser Arnautskaya street will get tested, which takes 15 minutes, after that they receive counseling from the friendly staff and the necessary comprehensive treatment in the future.
People will be able to do various tests in the clinic, including 4-step tests to identify a number of concomitant diseases, for example, hepatitis.
