The Global Fund presented for discussion the draft Terms of Reference for a new round of applications for TB programs funding in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries.
According to the terms of reference, the Global Fund plans to provide a 3-year grant with a total budget of USD 5 million in the priority area “Tuberculosis: improving DR-TB care and prevention in Eastern Europe and Central Asia”.
Considering the ample scope of the consultation process, the Global Fund reserves the right to include only the proposed changes/comments that improve the potential for the future proposal impact.
The advocacy of access to a continuum of HIV and TB services as a primary co-infection has always been and continues to be a priority for the East Europe and Central Asia Union of People Living with HIV (ECUO PLWH).
ECUO PLWH invites all representatives of organizations and communities of the EECA countries interested in providing universal access to prevention, treatment, care, support in connection with TB in the region to cooperation and discussing the necessary regional indicators for the new program.
