The ZT-Info group was created by the participants of methadone and buprenorphine substitution therapy programs from the former USSR countries.

“In our countries, substitution treatment programs have been introduced recently, and in many countries of the region such programs are not yet available to drug users”, says David Ananiashvili. “The task of the ZT-Info group is to help people who cannot receive methadone and buprenorphine in OST clinics and programs our countries. A person can ask for information about OST programs in other countries and obtain help in finding a clinic or doctor.

Our task is to inform OST participants about possible problems when visiting a particular country and prepare people for a journey. We help to draft the required documents and, if needed, can act as mediators with the necessary clinic or structure. The group has closed membership rule, but if you want to learn more about OST programs, are a participant of OST programs, are a parent or friend of a participant in OST programs, are involved in the drug treatment and drug use area, then welcome”.
