EATG-hosted community webinar for HIV: The Long View – Invitation
What does the future look like for HIV?
Introducing HIV: The Long View
As little as three decades ago, there was no such thing as a long-term vision for people living with HIV. Now, thanks to the collaborative work of the entire HIV community, the life expectancy of people living with HIV today is approaching that of the general population.[i] Looking forward to the next twenty years, there’s no doubt that the overall healthcare landscape is going to change significantly. But what could this changing environment mean for the future of HIV treatment, prevention and care?
The European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) would like to invite you to an online webinar to discuss the launch of theHIV: The Long View report, which envisions the potential long-term future of HIV in the context of the changing healthcare landscape.
Hear analyses and predictions of possible future healthcare trends from Prof Jeffrey Lazarus, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The session will be moderated by Koen Block, EATG, Belgium. What actions do you think we will need to take today to ensure a healthy future for people living with HIV?
